US Customs and Border Patrol Seeking new Canines from Small Business

Front Royal, Virginia, March 14, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) —

US Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) issued a solicitation for small businesses who can provide nine detector canines to their location in Front Royal, Virginia. They are only taking quotes from small businesses. The last day a small business can submit a quote is March 21, 2018. For assistance meeting this deadline with proper registrations and a strong offer, small businesses may use third-party government registration firm, US Federal Contractor Registration (USFCR).

The requirements to fulfill the CBP’s canine needs are found on the federal business opportunity solicitation which can be located on the Advanced Procurement Portal from USFCR. Businesses will see on the solicitation that the contractor is responsible for arranging shipment of the dogs by an April 20, 2018 deadline. CBP will determine if the dogs are suitable within fifteen-days of receipt. If a dog is found to be unacceptable for their needs, the contractor will have thirty-days to furnish a replacement.
